this is just getting creepy

listening to Sarah Silverman's celebrity podcast, she lists so many songs I absolutely love! She loves Jenny Lewis! Should we be friends?
1. jenny lewis-handle with care (cover of traveling wilburys)
2. jenny lewis & the watson twins-born secular
3. bright eyes-first day of my life
4. bruce springsteen-dancing in the dark
5. the mountain goats-no children
6. jenny lewis-acid tongue
7. joni mitchell-a case of you

needless to say, I dig her taste in love songs

i've been down to dixie and dropped acid on my tongue

Jenny Lewis - Acid Tongue .mp3
Found at bee mp3 search engine

I suppose I've been a fan of Jenny Lewis since she played cute-as-a-button Hannah Nefler in the ultimate Girl Scout movie, Troop Beverly Hills

but now I'm a huge fan of her music...yet another talented and lovely ginger!

foam magazine

First things first, I'm re-watching LOST from the beginning cuz LP just began watching it. I just watched 'Raised by Another' and it was GREAT. I remember the end of that episode being such a "bottom drops out" moment
....shitballs I had forgotten how good Season 1 was!

Next, I bought this Foam Magazine because it featured Ginger Numero Uno, Karen Elson, and her debut album.

on second glance it also featured joanna newsom, edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros, vampire weekend and neon indian!

very satisfied with this purchase. karen's single 'the ghost who walks' is actually pretty awesome & I love her voice. (acoustic video here)
her wardrobe in the editorial is a vintage dream. swoon at FashionGoneRogue

why won't this health fair report write itself?

daydreaming again....

dream bike

glitter. always.

even more than her hair I love Deneuve's makeup in this shot from style.com

it's so perfectly painted on

can't wait for my job interview @ MAC in t-minus 9 days!!

AND the hottest ginger-related news of the day? Ginny fucking Weasley and Jamie Campbell Bower, or as LP and I refer to him, "JOOOAAAANNNNNNAAA" from Sweeney Todd are engaged!!!
HOT SHIT

thoughts on a Friday afternoon

cuz they're certainly not work or school-related!

I'm thinking how much I love Karen Elson, a result of this morning's FashionGoneRogue 'Morning Beauty'. Indeed!

Thinking about making this Picnic Sandwich from my Vegan Yum Yum cookbook

instead of a picnic I'll be making it for an imminent trip to 6 Flags! My best friend gave me a season pass(!) as part of my birthday present! And a Sam's Club case of 5-Hour Energy :) and this is why we're best friends

and I'm thinking how much fun the zoo will be tomorrow!! happy weekend!

Emma Stone is who Lindsay Lohan could have been*

I will absolutely see this movie based on the trailer alone!
(btw the movie, 'Easy A' (Easy Adultery?)is a high school version of The Scarlett Letter, with Stone playing Hester Prynne)

yep I'm pretty much obligated to see what sounds like 10 Things I Hate About You crossed with Mean Girls

* without all the coke, public daddy issues and awkward career choices
